ADSU STUDENT EMERGES NORTHEAST ZONAL COORDINATOR OF NUCJ
A 300 level student of mass communication department, Adamawa state university, Mubi, comrade Emme Emmanuel has today emerged for the second time as the Northeast Zonal Coordinator of National Union of Campus Journalists (NUCJ).
In an online election held today, collated and announced by the National electoral committee, comrade Emme Emmanuel was declared winner alongside other comrades, Ajala Samuel Akindele, National president from Federal University Oye Ekiti, Uchenna Igwe National Secretary from University of Uyo among others.
In a telephone interview with Adsugist, Comrade Emme Emmanuel has used the medium to congratulate the other comrades who won 2021 NUCJ election. He reiterated that NUCJ will continue to stand for campus journalists at the wake of increasing intimidations in their campuses. He added that in many schools, voices of students are stifled by management of the institutions, which according to him, measures will be put in place to guarantee their right to free expression.
